If you are using the built-in AOL browser and are having trouble viewing the Java version of the tour please read the following for suggestions to solve the problem. AOL Graphics Compression is not compatible with the Java version of the tour.

Option 1: Turn off your AOL Web browser's graphics compression.

   AOL Version 3 Instructions to turn off graphics compression: (You may keep this page visible in your browser while you follow these instructions)

  1. Open your preferences using the pref button above (it looks like this AOL pref Button).
     
  2. Choose the Web Graphics Tab (it looks like thisAOL Graphic Tab).
     
  3. Make sure the option is not checked (it looks like thisAOL Grapgic Option Box).
     
  4. Press the APPLY button at the bottom of the window and then the OK button.
     
  5. Now either press the back button or click here to return to the tour.

   AOL Version 4 Instructions to turn off graphics compression:

  1. Click on MyAOL on your AOL toolbar.
     
  2. Choose Preferences.
     
  3. Choose the WWW icon.
     
  4. Choose the Web Graphics Tab (it looks like thisAOL Graphic Tab).
     
  5. Make sure the option is not checked (it looks like thisAOL Grapgic Option Box).
     
  6. Press the APPLY button at the bottom of the window and then the OK button.
     
  7. Now either press the back button or click here to return to the tour.

Option 2: Download the Live Picture Viewer - Download and install the live picture viewer and then view the regular version of the tour instead of the Java version of the tour. The regular version of the tour uses higher resolution images and gives you a much better experience. You can download the viewer from LivePicture now. After you have downloaded the viewer, you will need to install 'lpviewer' and return to www.ottomation.com. to view the tour. Here are more detailed instructions on installing the MGI Viewer

Option 3: Use an external Web browser - You can keep your AOL connection to the Internet and use a different browser. First minimize your AOL window. Then run a different Web browser, either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
