Sending Large Files via Email

Email was never designed to handle large files. Many ISP's limit the maximum file size to 10 Megabytes (10 Mb). Even if you can send larger files, they can be blocked by the recipient's ISP. The solution is not to send the files, but to load the file on a server and send a link to those who need to get the file. This process is made simple by a company called Box.net. They have a free trial. Use Box.net to send files securely, Up to 1GB. Box.net can also be used to share files and colloaborate with groups of people such as clients, vendors, and others.
